Review of different tune options, on the dyno, & at the track…

http://www.cobaltss.net/forums/2-0l-...sheets-242996/

Excellent write-up, by a guy who ran all the different 'tunes' ,that are available,
for our buggys.
He ran the different 'tunes' at the track, & on the dyno.

Here's another review of different tunes, & the issues that you
might have, if you try to 'tune' on top, of another 'tune'.

I installed the Trifecta over my superchip using my cruise button. My question to you. I feel little to no difference when I have engaged the tune. Should I have removed the superchip first? Thanks

This article is kind of old and out of date now. GMTU (the orig call letters) is now better than others, as some have scaled back and will not go over what GM was doing in their upgrade. Too many recalls/blown engines, and the tuner company had to perform refunds. On the other hand, taking a vehicle with the GMTU and using HPTuners can yield higher results. I think some of the others can do this, but you would have to confirm they are.

when I get time, I will post the articles and How To's, albeit they will be geared towards HPT as that is the route I am going.

Good info! I still have never seen a tuned auto SS on the dyno or numbers. I assume its about 10% or so less than the standard SS
