Unhappy Sad.... The end of an HHR SS..

It makes me sad to see this. A perfect HHR SS being dismantled for parts...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chevy...Q5fAccessories

Looks like the engine is missing and intercooler as well.

I was looking at HHR listings on Ebay, and found this. I think this HHR could have been returned to the market. Why they decided to part it out... I dunno.. Makes me sad anyway..

From the ride height of the front looks like it doesn't have an engine in it.

I wonder if this place must be a dumping gound for GM as they get a lot of low mileage GM cars with nothing looking wrong.

There's a 2009 Cobalt SS with 1 mile. The description says it got damaged in transit from the factory to the dealer.

Kinda what I thought.

They had a Black 08 SS last fall with 12 miles too.

We have a local dismantler that scraps cars that are preproduction cars and prototypes. THey have to video the car being dismantled and the parts distroyed and send it to the MFG to prove nothing was saved. I know a guy there and he has some stories of cars they have processes.
