If it was repaired at a GM dealer you should be able to take it to any GM dealer to have repairs done. Contact GM cust. service. Be sure you have your receipt.

X-2

I just had $2500 worth of repairs done at my GM dealer and they specifically told me that there was a 12 month warranty on parts and labor and that it would be honored an any legit GM shop.
Yes you would need your original receipt.
If you had this job done twice at GM dealers you should be able to get it repaired no charge and possibly have recourse for payment of one of those other 2 repairs.
Take it one step at a time but I would contact GM Customer Service and run all this by them. They should assign you a case number so you can follow up going forward.

Good luck,
SF

I'm keeping her…

So I did decide to keep the ss, but I am definitely fighting for some reimbursement.

I'm into her for the long haul. Plus my son loves it. Gives us some common ground.

Thanks for the posts, and I think I have some pics up.

Glad to hear you are not selling!

GM Customer Service has been pretty darn good to me. Starting in 1991, I owned 3 new Corvettes. They worked with me on each one.

My HHR was a Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle and they also came through for me.

Start a new Introduction Thread and show us that Bad Boy!

update… got paid

So, the dealership reimbursed me.. I just didn't deal with the dealership anymore. I started with the regional manager and flooded their inbox with invoices and complaints that other people have made.

it went well, 2k in my pocket 😄 and she runs fine.

Great, Now that that one is running good you need to start looking for a second one, if your son is anything like my daughter you won't get much time behind the wheel...........
