So many people at work "HHR SS"?
So many people at work "HHR SS"?
Have never seen an SS HHR. And I must say, I don't see any on the street often. How many SS versions are there? I see a lot of LT and LS models but no SS's. This is a good thing and so many people come up to me and ask about the SS. Hell my brother in Louisiana even called me and wanted to know about it. He said "Is it a V6"? I said no it's a 2.0 ltr Turbo 260 / 260 5 speed.
Does anyone else get the looks from ricers and other people? I do and it's funny.

Other than on dealer lots i've only ever seen one other HHR SS and it was parked along the road a few towns away. I'm get looks and compliments all the time so i'm hoping they stay pretty rare.
The Cobalt SS/SC make 240 HP and since that's in a lighter car, he would have handed you your A$$ easily.
i believe they make 205hp, unless they upped it after introduction. i've grown up around chevy vehicles, and until i graduated HS, i had the attitude of "if it's not GM, i don't care" so i followed all of the GM vehicles as closely as possible. i know the SS/SC was at least introduced with 205hp, and don't recall it being increased.

Course then again, it could also depend on if the Cobalt has a "stage kit". The Stage 1 was good for an additional 30 HP, the Stage 2 was good for 40 HP.
