Soltice 2.0 Turbo are running

I went over to the Soltice boards to see how far they are getting with the Ecotec engine. It seems that there is a lot of aftermarket products out for the 2.0 Turbo just none for ours yet. Some of the members were 311 rwhp which is respectable for these little cars. They also had dejon bov springs which I belivew are used in our stock bov. Also there were lots of different intakes intercoolers and piping along with tunes & exhaust setups. I just hope they put the development in to our SS so that we can have some fun to.

that's 311FWHP, right?
that's damn good power to weight ratio.
would that be enough to pull on a Mustang GT?

just make sure the tranny can take it. if we all make enough noise over the internet they might make the HHR versions.

Considering the GT does the 0-60 in just over 5 seconds, 311whp would be more than enough considering they only start with 300chp at 3400lbs.

My buddy took a 96 or so GT in his GTI VR6 with exhaust and intake. Mustangs are really not that fast stock IMO.

'96 or so GT's were not that fast, but newer ones are. When Chevy started using the LS1, Ford started bumping up the power. Keep in mind that the 4.6 still puts out more torque than any modified 2.0 Solstice is putting out, and they have the gearing and suspension to get that power to the ground.

However, throw an LS2 or LS3 in the Solstice and you'll blow the doors off a stock 'vette. Too bad nobody around here's had the resources to fit an LS4/4T65E in the HHR.

At the last SKY/Solstice plant tour the engineer said there would be a GM tune coming out soon that would increase HP to 290 with over 300lb-ft TQ on turbo models.
