Holy crap! I thought I was the mileage man here with 42K mi.! You and 08blackHHRSS both have me beat! I bought mine on Mar 26, 08.

I'd probably be over 60K if I hadn't got a company van last Nov. I'm glad I am preserving my SS, but I hate driving that Chevy Uplander!

I'm at 44,500 Kms now. Just got back from the dealership last night with some disappointments. This being said, I LOVE THE MACHINE!

Engine revving between gears (standard) - of course it didn't happen at the dealership again, so I have to leave with them another day to see if it reproduces. Usually from off the line, or when cold. Been there since day one and not going away. I'm guessing a sensor is not working right.

Body rust - bottom of all four doors!!!! My HHR LT didn't have this issue for two years, so why a one year old SS would have this issue is beyond me. I caught it early, but disturbing none the less. Dealership is doing the bodywork under warranty.

Suspension wear - again, like with my LT, I'm starting to feel play in the front end when accelerating, braking, cornering. It's early on, so the dealer couldn't feel what I can. They will in a few months. Same thing that occurred on my LT. I so wait for aftermarket suspension parts that are more durable than what GM is churning out for the HHRs.

Other than that, just some nitpicky whistles, clunks and rattles taken care of by the dealer. Those I expect over time.

Outside of that, the car persists to keep me happy as an owner. I'm really eyeing the Stage 1 kit.

R.

Yeah... rust. small bubbles forming on lower edge of inner door skin.

All four doors.

The car came from Detriot. GM executive car. I've had it since the spring, so even with one season without anything special done to the car for rust proofing, it shouldn't have done that. My LT was fine for two years.

The dealership is a little surprised by that. They haven't had anyone else complain about this on HHRs or Cobalts.
