Kevin. You must have missed the earlier discussions a few years back about this.

When the HHR SS's came out, GM literature listed the top speed to be 155 mph on the stock version with a 5 speed. Personally, I've been up to 135 in mine once. That was fast enough for me.

 

That sounds like amazing fun.

I've witnessed one hit 149mph and it was still climbing. :)
