SS brakeline question.. crush washer

Can you remove the factory crush washer that is triangular shaped from the brake line? I'm installing brembo's and I have new crush washers but I don't know if I'm supposed to cut or grind the old one off first here is a pic of it....

That brass seal should be replaced and it should be round. That happens from to much torque.

If you’re changing to Brembo calipers, you should replace the flex lines also and you’ll need a 3mm spacer between the hub and spindle

Funny u mentioned the spacer Blue... On the driver side it looks evenly spaced but on the passenger side i noticed it right away... Any idea where i can purchase such spacer here in Canada? And how much they will cost me? Heres a pic of the semi-finished product... i didnt bleed them yet because i need a piece of hose to go over the bleeder screws so brake fluid doesnt drip all over my painted calipers and make my work all for nothing... I think they shoulda had the bleeders on the bottom instead of the top... I painted the one rotor and then ran out of paint so i still need to paint the passenger side... Wheich sode do u guys like better?

🤣 “Bleeders on the bottom instead of the top”
Wow. Really. You’d never get the air out if they were on the bottom.
