SS Colgan Bra

Anybody with a Colgan bra on their SS. How does it fit at the front of the wheel well? I can't believe the plastic clips go on the paint. The installation instructions are worthless. Any pics would be appreciated.
Thanks

Thanks for the pictures and info. That's exactly the way I thought it would go on. I can't believe those plastic clips won't scratch the paint. Every other bra I ever had didn't have anything like that touching the paint. I may send this thing back.

Why can't anyone make the plastic clear film that I see on Corvettes. It protects and doesn't scratch the paint. These covers are bad if you live out here in AZ. The dirt gets between the cover and the paint and rubs the paint badly

just look for 3m clear bra or invisable bra, their are dealers and installers everywhere, but it`s not cheap.

The bras are only made for limited use. You can not leave them on wet as they can cloud paint and dirt will scratch the paint.

These were only made for highway travel and to be on the vehicle for short periods.

I have seen many kill a paint job by trying to leave these on all winter.

If you have to buy onw Colgan is the best no question as I have one for my other car.

One cheaper alturnitive to the high priced 3M clear it the new spray on bra. Sherwood Williams has a new product that you tape off the front of the car and spray on for winter protection. It pulls off when your ready to remove it.

My buddy used it last winter on a Saturn and it did a great job.

It is not the coolest looking thing but is a cheaper effective alturnitive.

I will see if I can get the name and post it.
