SS on the DL
I only used the Saab rears because I could do it on the cheap (calipers were free)....you could also use the TC cobalts rears also same size....but basically your big cost will be in finding the calipers, I bought new rotors, I had to make some spacers for the Saab ones new longer bolts I was able to mod the rear lines in a pinch to make them work but will be getting some new longer ones made...but all in all pretty easy and not to hard on the pocket book, best part if I ever need replacement parts they are all factory GM stuff
I like the free much better ...I personally thought the stock was way too soft, it doesnt just lay over in the corners any more also...it is a bit stiffer though time to save up the cash for Koni's
Wish there were spring rates to use for comparisons, but then ride quality is all subjective anyways.....on a side note I don't hear any of the nay sayers saying anymore about its not a good idea to mess with the "tuned" suspension GM put out....doesn't matter how good stock is, its still stock! Even the Vette can be improved........so spring it,shock it,tire it and hang on!
