GM has axed the 4 door Cobalt SS and Impala SS for 2010. That is along with the already mentioned HHR SS Panel.

I didn't know that GM made a Cobalt SS sedan.

And I was car shopping for the last 6 months and never seen even one at a dealership (obviously). I seen SS coupes all over the place.

I was looking for something practical and a little sporty (I ended up with much more than I bargained for), but I wouldn't have bought a Cobalt SS sedan anyway.

Yes. There's actually a black one, sitting on my dealers lot.

Saw one at the Denver Auto Show...have to admit, I was more than mildly impressed. The extra doors don't detract from the overall feel of the "SS" package. A well executed design IMO. Shame their cuttin' it.

I think that's a mistake on Chevy's part. The WRX, EVO, SRT4 and Mazdaspeed 3 all come in 4 door flavor.

Well there is one good thing about this...... Our cars will be rare and go back up in value. I guess this means im gonna cancel my extended waranty

Yea the SS will continue until june 0f 2010.
