The SS Parade

Last Friday when I got out of work, I began driving down Route 1, which is a heavily congested section of three lane highway. The flow of traffic probably averaged 20 MPH at best, with some stop and go conditions. As I was in the center lane, I first noticed a Cobalt SS pull up on my right side with a couple younger guys and they were giving me the thumbs up. Then about a minute later a Camaro SS pulls up on the left side with an older guy driving it. We proceeded to parade the SS's neck and neck down the roadway for several miles before we had to go our separate ways.

It was definitely a Chevy moment.

Is that an SS Camaro? I can't see the emblem on the right side.

No, I'm not at all jealous. For the garage more than anything else, I would be so much farther along on my projects if I had one. Oh yea, the cars are nice too.

Yes it is a SS and one with every option available $42,000+ sticker.

It is really my neighbors in my Garage. I stored it for him while he was having some work done on his garage. I kicked the wifes GTP Comp G out. I should have uncovered the Fiero on the other side of the HHR and got a shot with all three.

I got a picture of it after I parked it in there. I thought two SS would be cool.

I should also get a picture at work. I have buddy at work with a Cobalt SS in black that often parks next to me.

Funny the day you posted this a SS Camaro in black and I were running up the freeway. I was leading.

I have a black SS that I meet up with and we go out 224 once in a while. I have not seen it since last winter. We would tag in nose to tail passing cars.

This morning on the interstate I pulled up next to a Cobalt SS of the same color. I stayed next to him for about 30 seconds trying to get his attention to no avail, then left him in the dust. I then realized he had temp tags on the vehcile, and that he was probably just at minimum speed for his break in. He was probably pissed he couldn't go full throttle with me.

Later I passed two New Beetle turbo models. Is there a point to those?
