Just curious if any of your SS's have a pinstripe and if so what color stripe on what color? My SS is black w/ red pinstripe and I wouldn't have it ANY other way! I have yet to see another like it, but that's why I'm askin!

 

None on mine and have seen it in the factory gray.

 

I dont think the factory stripes come in red. The only options I have seen are smoke and silver.

 

Mine has gray and black pin stripping, I think pin stripping is dealer installed. I didn't pay to have mine put on it just came that way. The pin stripping runs from the back to the front both sides, and has the chevy emblem on the hood.

 

he is talking about pin stripe, not racing stripes.

 

They don't stand out much, and some people never see them until you mention them.

They run down the side of the car and spell out HHR at the rear.

I think that red pin may be custom from the dealer as they don't come in red. Looks very cool (my pins are pink on black).

I assumed mine was dealer installed and I didn't see anywhere that they charged for it so that was cool. I'm hoping to do a little more of the accenting with the red/black scheme going... like, black bowties w/ red trim and either red SS emblems or again black w/ red trim. The red pinstripe is pimp and when you see that I have the black/red interior it's just that much better! AFS9, thanks!

There is a black SS with red pin stripes like yours. It's still at the dealer's lot last time I checked. So it's either factory or a dealer option.
