SS Production 08/09

I thought there were around 20,000 SS models built each year...Thats what the dealer told me....I have not seen one on the road since I bought mine a couple of months ago, so I am wondering if he was mistaken...Thanks...Al

There were about 4580 made in 08 per Chevy. I have yet to see the numbers for 09 yet but I would guess they were about the same this year or less.

There were 100,000 HHRs total in 08.

They are around but not common to see daily. But the funny thing is I had 3 HHR SS in my work parking lot today. Silver, Black and Flash Blue. I saw them when I was out walking at lunch.

As for dealers they are the last person to go to for info. They know less than anyone on cars for the most part.

I should say CHEVY MGR excluded!!!!!

I'd say! They asked me "how to get the Harley Edition SS" !

"Most sales, parts and service people at the dealers have less love for a vehicle then we do, so they really don't G.A.S. What would you expect for real answers from them? I think most people on this forum have experienced that at one time or another with regard to the HHR. No big deal, that's real life. I say, "promote ignorance and stupidity". Otherwise, we all could be looking for "JOBS".

I don't think those numbers are available yet.

I should see the GM guy who got them last year for me in Sept. I will see if he can get me the numbers for this year. They should have them by now.

Is there a reason for the small print? It is not easy on the eyes.
