I guess it's safe to say that the author isnt giving the SS a thumbs down...he's just looking for something different.

I also think it is safe to say that everyone who bought a HHR SS gave the Solstice GXP a thumbs down.

apples to apples, right?...I wouldnt compare my HHR with a 2-door convertible just because it came from the same 'family'...if that were the case, screw the HHR...I prefer a Z06.

if the Pontiac Solstice GXP was a Chevy...it would have a SS badge too.
but again...comparing a sports car to a HHR is way off.

 

I trade my HHR SS even for a Z06.

We just got done putting some Boost in the form of a procharger D-1sc on it, we are waiting for the stock titanium rods to go *snap* and then a real motor goes in :)

 

The Z06 is not for me. I prefer the new ZR1. :)

 

If it was black we could maybe make a deal! ZR1 is insane, nicely insane.

 

IIRC the car was originally yellow, it had every panel pulled off and redone in a candy tangerine. He brought it here for headers and the Procharger.
