I WILL be putting a hitch on my SS Panel, need to tow the fishing boat (1000 lbs total weight w/ trailer). I support anybody who chooses to do the same installation! Kayaks and bikes go on the roof rails. Camping gear, fire wood, etc. inside. I got mine to be USED, not looked at. Sure, I'll take precautions to protect and maintain it, but its going to be used.

Mikey, you may support it but GM doesn't. I really hope you don't have a need to use the warranty for a powertrain component on your car... because you'll void it by towing. I used my 06 for towing small trailers, because GM said it was okay, but not this one. Now I steal the wife's car if I need to tow a small trailer.
