Thank you to whomever figured out that the solder joint on the battery part of the fob circuit board could break. My fob started acting up and thanks to searching here, I learned about the possibility of a broken solder joint at the battery connection. Put the cheater reading glasses on last night, immediately saw the crack in the solder, and a light dab of the soldering iron returned my fob to proper operation. The quality of information and moderation on this site is great.

Thanks glad we could help, I read that thread and fixed my fob battery cage years ago, happy to see it still works today.

So much car discussion has shifted to Farcebook and 80% of the responses are complete nonsense.

This forum has greatly contributed to my enjoyment of my HHRs.
