Superchips is looking for a 2010 HHR SS near their facility to check the 2009 Cortex tune on. Currently the Cortex will work on all SS except the 2010, because they haven't had a vehicle to use. If I lived closer, I'd take some time off and drive down!

If your interested in that you might as well get a better tune with the Trifecta tune or HPT tune.

Everyone has their own opinions on tunes. It's like religion, politics and what kind of oil to use.

No harm in trying a FREE tune.

Can't understand why Superchips would want a 10 SS to check it on. There is no difference as far as engine, trans, computers, ect., between 08-09-10 models. Same deal on all three, as far as power.
My 2 cents: canned tunes are a waste, and can't and don't put out the power of a ajustable tune like Trifecta. They are all show and no go.
Besides, whatever tune you have, you can only put down so much power, due to the HHR-SS platform limitations, of tire size, trans, ect. "Moon"

My own opinion on tunes?

How about Dyno sheets and facts to back up the difference.

Its apparent just by statments made that people haven't done research on tunes.

There is a reason why hardly anyone runs the SuperChips tunes now, it was a good alternative when the HHR SS first came out due to not many tunes available. Not anymore.

If you really want to help Super Chips out tell them to get off there ass and make a Stage 2 tune for the LNF and maybe people will buy and use there programmer again.

Free is not always better

All I want in a tune is the HP and Torque the manual has. I specifically don't want to max out the performance. The GM Stage 1 is perfect - except it seems it is so sensitive to install that most I've heard about on this board cause more grief than performance. I'm not real big on taking it back to the dealer a few times to get it right (once I buy a car I never want to see the dealer service department - I want it to work as designed with no warranty issues).
