Good luck with it!

Truth be told I only got the SS for practicality (it fits my entire drum set in its cases with room to spare), but fell in love after the fact.

The Mustangs are sharp cars! Lots of sharp unique colors. If I ever don't need the cargo space, its back to a RWD V8 again..

Lost a race to one of them mustangs, before I got a tune. It was all black with a little snake on the side. Sounded like a few thousand under the hood when he pulled past me.

I don't think He could get away now that I got tuned, but I bet He is still talking about that dinky blue stationwagon He barely caught with His supercharged snake car......

Good luck with the Mustang, the newest ones are looking mighty nice. I've never owned a Ford, if it were in my budget I'd be all over the Edge Sport, but to load it up the way I want, it'd break my budget.

I just paid my HHR off, so of course I immediately went out and test drove a couple cars. Nothing wowed me so much that I need it right now, so I'm going to be without car payment for a while for the first time ever (traded in three cars early, had one totaled on a hit-and-run). Definitely looking forward to no payments!

I think about selling my HHR all the time.

Love the car but some of the marginal suspension parts worry me since my warranty is now up along with some of the motor parts.

Last week looked at an Edge Sport and an Explorer Sport as lease deals on both those are really good.

I like the looks of the Edge, but it doesn't hold that much more than our HHR's.

The Explorer holds more has a turbo 6 but is heavy.

Everytime I decide to trade it I stop.

This week we're on location shooting an ad series and have two commercial vans for lighting and grip and use the HHR SS as a camera car.

Our camera kit is huge, 4 movie cameras, lens sets, 4 sets of still cameras, that weight around $1,200 pounds.

This morning headed out fully loaded in the HHR SS.

It's just an amazing little car, how much it holds, how much power it has fully loaded as for a while I wasn't really thinking and constantly cruised at 90 to 95mph.

It also handles great, came into a sweeper at 85 and it just holds well without drama, even so loaded down.

It's a difficult car to get rid off.

Congrats on the new purchase. I myself have the best of both worlds as I trade driving time on my SS with my '08 Bullitt Mustang. I love 'em both for what each has to offer-more practicality with the Chevy and more balls out rear-wheel driving fun with the Ford. Both companies build fun, interesting cars and I don't limit myself to strict brand loyalty, only what fits my needs and tastes.
