Turbo Xs mods on HHR SS Auto pics added/updated info

Sorry pics actually up

Hey guys, so while i could probably fab up most of this stuff at my shop I get dealer discount at turbo xs and figured......fook it, got the air intake/charge piping kits for the cobalt ss/tc. After much thought and some saw zawing i got the hotside in, then I shortened the air intake into more of a short ram and got the all in, its not perfect and I will need to fab up a bracket for the intake to not rub or move. For the hotside the layout of crap around the charge pipe is much tighter than in the cobalt so i cut the long piece that they provided, it goes from the turbo compressor outlet, over the valve cover, and down the front driver's corner. I cut at the bend right at the front corner and used their silicone coupler to make it work. All in all for a couple hours of dicking around im pretty happy with the results. I will provide pictures when I get back to the shop after this logging run. I have had the HoonVan for 5 days now roughly. .

Mods:
Modified Turbo xs Hot side charge piping
Fmic(some large fmic i had lying around the shop)
Turbo xs catless dp
Modified turbo xs air intake, adapted into a short ram(basically)
Hp tuned by BYT

Next Mods : E47 byt tune, powder coated stockers, lowering springs, ttr upper mount, ttr rear sway, custom 3" catback.......soon to come!

what size did you run for your exhaust? I am contemplating building a 3" from the turbo back. I just have to make sure I glasspack the crap out of it because I occassionally have to drive my newborn around in this car.

Lqqkin good

Hi all....new guy here.
I've got a 2008 hhr ss. Got it for a good price but now I'm finding all kinds of projects that need to be done.
Just takes a little dough-ray-me.
Anyway got real lucky and purchased the ZZZ intake for my application.
Too cold to work on the new unit so it'll be sided lined till spring.
I like what you've done with you little rod rod Revv/Autoss.
I'm going in that direction eventually.
Thanks for the update and the great pictures.
Be well fellow HHR Guy's n Gal's
Harpman....out
