Wana buy an SS?
Dont think this has been posted but I recieved info from the Yahoo HHR group that a red SS is for sale at a dealership in Texas.

If you click on Window Sticker it says this Vin # is not in dealers inventory. Something else interesting is if you go to build on their site and go to appearance it shows an option of:
Exterior:
Paint, Solid (Std.) MSRP NA
Extra Cost Paint MSRP NA
Special Paint Job??? or is this for Blue Flash Metallic???

Cool only problem is that it says not on dealership inventory when you click for the window sticker
I am guessing it in transit to dealer or someone backed out of buying it and the dealer needs new buyer quicker because of no dealer stock of SS due to initial production and initial demand is met.

...The other neat drag strip-inspired feature is called No Lift Shift. This takes some getting used to, but essentially you shift gears without easing up on the throttle—you keep it floored. So what’s the difference between this feature and any other car with a rev limiter? Well, a rev limiter only keeps the engine from over-revving. No Lift Shift uses software to keep the turbo spooled up. So when you engage the clutch with the gas pedal floored, the turbo maintains boost and you get up to power quicker. Chevy says it shaves 0.07-seconds per shift. It’s weird to get used to, but it does work, so kudos to Chevy for thinking of us hot footers.
That said, for everyday use, we’d probably take the automatic. Go ahead and call us wimps. The exhaust note is less throaty and it is slower, but it’s nearly as fun to drive—without the constant shifting in traffic snarls. And on the freeway, it returns nearly the same fuel economy at 28 mpg. Manuals get 29 mpg highway.

Jay, my post was referring to if you went into their site and tried building one. I was wondering if the Extra Cost Paint was considered the Blue Flash or is this some kind of Custom Two Tone Paint. The main reason I wondered is it states Paint, Solid (Std.)
