I disagree. I think the black stripes would look good on the silver and the orange SS as well. There is a Blue SS posted here somewhere with white stripes that looks very good. A Black SS would look good with several different color options.

Love the Rally strips and the frt bowtie, I did all my SS badges in black and the same to my frt bowtie with SS inlay looks awesome,
I'd lose the HHR and one of the SS's on the rear in my option.

Well, glad somebody put the right kind of racing stripes on a SS.
The other thing is: you beat me to it, but it looks double throw down.
After I lower mine, and put some different wheels on, I'm going to paint a racing stripe [just like the one above] on my Black SS. I'm going to use a dark silver grey stripe, with a thin red pinstripe. Instead of stick on, I'll be painting mine on.
I've got drawings made up, but seeing one in the flesh, makes me want to get it done soon.
Looks killer, my friend. "Moon"

Excellent job!!!! Really like the attention to detail. Nothing irks me faster than a rally stripe that doesn't go ALL the way around.

i didn't think stripes would look good, but it makes it looks even more sportier and meaner. good job man!!! if i did it,i would do gray stripes on black...matches my interior.
