Geesh, is everyone trading in their Goats for a HHR SS?! Sounds like I could pick up a GTO real cheap ... but I don't need a 4th car. Or do I?

Welcome! You're going to love your SS.

Good choice. I love my SS! I have not had the feeling I get driving my SS since I first started driving. I agree, make sure you look it over with a fine tooth comb before accepting it.

I should be getting it by Saturday at the latest.

Wound up getting:

* Arrest me Victory Red
* Red Sport Cloth Interior
* 5 Speed
* Limited Slip Diff
* Power Sun Roof
* Side Curtain Air Bags
* XM Satellite
* Pioneer Speakers
* 6 Disc CD

Traded in my 2004 GTO for it. I am going to miss that car, but looking forward to some SS Turbocharged fun!!!
That's the EXACT same HHR SS, I traded in my 2005 GTO for. I love the SS, we've already taken 2 road trips in it with my wife and 2 daughters, which is something we could never do in the GTO, due to the "truncated" trunk.

Thanks all. I really enjoyed the GTO it is a great car. Well built and great power. As a daiy driver it becam rather impracticle . . . and fuel hungry.

So now with the HHR, I'll get 30% better fuel economy, a more practicle vehicle, with 4 real doors that can fit 4 people, and unlike the GTO and be able to haul stuff, which with the GTO was not possible due to the itty bitty trunk.

Can't wait to get it in my hands! Last night was rather restless in anticipation.
