Unfortunately I had to get the Auto due to the Fiance not knowing how to drive stick. She complained and was mad that she could never drive the GTO cause it was the 6 speed and she gets too scared when I try to teach her. But I am contacting my Tuner in North Carolina tonight and see if he does this engine so maybe I can get a couple extra ponies out of it.

That being said its plenty fast enough not even close to the GTO cause I was putting 402rwhp and 398 lb/ft tq in that but I dont plan on drag racing anymore and I am probably just going to set this up for Autox so me and the future mrs. can tear up the track together.

And about the pics I will do a lot better ones tomorrow but I just bought it about 5 hrs ago so I didnt get any daytime pics yet.

Congrats on the SS. Love the Blk/Blk/Red Combo.

I'm considering the same swap. I like my GTO, sick torque, but no room for my toys (bike/ski/fish). The dealers I've spoke with won't give me a reasonable trade in on the GTO (shock and awe). Might have to sell it privately:

Well the dealership I went to today wanted a sell so bad that they ended giving me what I wanted for mine but I suggest either go to a Carmax if you have one in your area and they might give you more.

But if you dont have to worry about significant other issues definently get the 5 speed cause the auto is a little anemic but hopefully Jeff Creech gets back to me tomorrow about getting a dyno tune on this thing. And by the way you will miss the power in the GTO big time but this thing handles like its on rails.

Congrats on new ss, but I got a quick question on the GTO, I have a friend looking to purchase one and just was wondering what kind of real world fuel mileage does it get?

Well I got awesome mileage on the Highway probably because of the dyno tune but I was getting about 32 on the highway but in the city I was only getting 10 to 15
