There is obviously a lot of interest about the 2008 HHR SS here at ChevyHHR.net. I'm curious; what are your plans about getting getting one?

Currently very happy with Dory. No if the Lotto numbers match, well then, that's a different story!

We still have just over 3 years left on our lease.

We've already exceeded our mileage numbers for the first year and still have two months to go before the first year is up

Then there are those unapproved mods I've done...soooo we'll be buying our HHR out at the end

I voted for later in the first model year. I really like it.

If I was in a position to get a new car earlier, I prolly would have already bought my HHR, but since I will be able to buy next year, that's when I'll prolly pull the trigger on a new SS. I know the dealers will not be dealing for at least the first couple of months, and also let them work any mechanical kinks out... so I'll wait til the dust settles and then...
until that day...

Don't see this ever happening. Especially since it was announce that the HHR will have a complete re-do in 2011. But you never know.

I do have to wonder though, if the auto transmission won't handle 260hp, how a all-wheel drive would do? Does GM have one they use already that would work?

I will be ordering as soon as my dealer is allowed to do so.

I talked to my dealer and he thought I would be the first one in to check on ordering one. He said as soon as they could place an order it would be mine if I wanted it. I think it would look great in the garage next to my GXP solstice. A pair of turbo's. Now all I have to do is sell my 07 Fall Edition.
