Wow, thanks so much for the link, I just substituted my zip code on your link and got the same discount for Western region. My dealer had told me that was good for the Western region SS, but I was skeptical that it applied to the SS, guess he is right. Picking it up tomorrow (yay).

Well, I am glad so many people are getting them. The wife and I decided we have to wait until after my Buick is finished/sold.

Anyone want to buy a fully restored and somewhat modified 1987 Turbo Regal (florida car)?

The timing of promotional incentives can be frustrating. My black HHR SS (third black vehicle in 14 years, I think the color is worth the maintenance) is due at the dealership next week. I had not counted on $1,000 cash back when I ordered it in November, and am grateful the timing's gonna' work out for me.

But to the posted topic. Back in November I negotiated $600 over dealer invoice. Put $1,000 down on the order and deal. My opinion is that right now, you can still negotiate under MSRP with a reasonable chance of finding a dealership in your area who will deal. The amount of trepidation over the economy is real. I mean, whoda' thunk there would be incentives on the SS this quickly.

Black w/ ebony & gray interior
Sunroof
Manual with LSD
Pioneer system w/ XM

My dealer rocks. I was able to get the deal with the incentive. I have never had a car dealer who tried so hard to make me happy. I would send everyone I know to them if they wanted a car.
