When the SS is paid for, what to do with it?

My son will turn 16 when I have had the car for 10 years which is my goal. I think this will be possible since my daily commute is 1.7 miles round trip and we are moving to a new parking lot which will cut about .2 off the commute I estimate approximately 40,000 miles in 10 years. I will bestow upon my son one of the coolest cars ever built. I am sure it will be a rust bucket of crap by then, but he will still love it.

Mine was paid off the night I picked it up.
Unlike most who post here, this is my work vehicle. In three years, it'll have well over 100,000 miles on the clock. I'm hoping that, with meticulous maintenance and care, it'll still look and operate as new. If it's still running well, I'll try for another 100K.
After that, who knows? Maybe something else will catch my eye...

paid for mine when I picked it up too. we dont drive it much, I have 2 new trucks also that seem to be our daily drivers, the ss stays in the garage and usually blocked in by a truck, if we had a bigger dwy we would drive it more.

drive it into the ground and enjoy it all the way..pass it on to one of the kids if it survives that long. Slamming 28k miles on it per year, i doubt it'll make it to them. They might like the body 10 years from now when we're all forced by the Gubamint to drive plastic wagons with 48 batteries for Powa.

I took out a three year loan on the SS, and my daughter will be looking for a car right around the time it gets paid off. I gave my other daughter the 2004 GP, so I don't see any reason not to give the SS to daughter no. 2. But at this point, I have no idea what to replace the SS with - I'm having too much fun with it right now. I'd like to get a CTS, but that is a lot of money for a car I put 20K miles on a year.

The cars paid for, the garage I need isnt! once that minor detail is overcome I would love to just keep going for decades with this thing.... I like the idea of barn doors, chop the whole thing at least 2-3", bags, and a nice shiny LS?
But this is just a dream...... it will probaly have a 400HP/500T@0 RPM brushless motor and 4-500LB's of batteries, coolers, and some flat solar on the roof.... that is the way of the future, and if GM declares BK the electric parts might be easier to come by!

1: I will keep it stock (only mods will be stage kit and Aeroforce gauge).
2: Hand wash the car, wax it frequently, and keep it garaged.
3: Drive it when the weather is OK (wipers are likely to be useless), have fun with it, pamper it, change the oil when the time comes, give it a lot of TLC, she's my baby after all.
4: GOTO 2 and then 3. Repeat.
