Who's a Lifer?

OK, Knock on Wood..... No wrecks!

Having been on the site now for almost 3 years, I don't think this thread has come up for the SS or the HHR in general. How many forum members plan to never sell their "No Laggin' Wagons"? Also, since they are beginning to hit the market, anybody acquiring another one?

Myself, ever since I was a child(late thirties) I always wanted the milk delivery van(49?) from Leave it to Beaver, not very practical with a little one(someday I'll have one). The first one we have is not a panel, but we needed the backseat. Sometime in the future, I hope to add a 5sp Panel to the driveway, and then another and another and another.

Still undecided but since I am starting to drop some money into appearance items that may sway my decision some.

I'd love to have another Panel SS, but alas, the Mrs. gets the next car.

I got the HHR for the long haul and haven't changed my attitude.

I put all but the first 160 miles on it, thoroughly enjoy it and won't sell for the loss I'd take.

I'll probably get an updated early Blazer for wheelin' when I move to TN but the SS is mine.

Of course I'm fortunate enough to owe less than it's worth, but I don't plan on selling it. I'm really hoping to drive it until it dies, which I really hope is a loooong time.

No plans to sell. We have a 07 LT and 10 SS. Love them both. Both are tucked away for the winter. Looking forward to the spring

I dont plan on selling mine. I bought it to keep it. I'm not driving her much, only sunny saturdays/sundays, and it will be stored every winters. So the mileage is not likely to rack up rapidly, and i should own the SS for a long time. But i must confess that i am a bit concerned with long term SS parts availability. Not many SS were made, so this worries me a bit.

I am also concerned about known issues such as the electric steering problem (same part as the Cobalt). The Cobalts were recalled to correct this problem... The HHR's were not... The turbo reliability also worries me. In the future, i really wouldn't like to spend most of my time in the shop

On my second one, just don't plan on getting rid of the ss.
