I need to get an extra set of rims and was wondering if the 17" rims or even 16'' rims from a Cobalt or HHR would fit the SS with its larger front brakes. I am preparing for 4 snows for the winter.

 

Yes, I'm quite sure they would. I'll let others correct me if I'm wrong here, but these are not any special larger brakes we have vs. the standard Cobalt or HHR.

We have four wheel disc with the SS, but unless you have something like the larger Brembo brakes option which is just now coming available with the 09 model there shouldn't be any interference...

 

Well......my SS owners manual tells me that the spare doesn't fit on the front..... Does the spare fit on the LT or LS? Just a thought.......

 

I have my doubts they would fit.
