working out the kinks, getting to know my SS
over 700 miles and getting very used to the SS. minor kinks to be worked out, so far it's been great.
1-running board problem in the process of being corrected.
2-hot buttons on the IP, seems like others have the same condition.
3-left side (driver's) front window has a wind whistling noise when driving
this is either with the window open or closed, leads me to believe this may
be weatherstrip related, just taking a wild guess, needs further investigation
4-getting used to the Auto and trying some of the techiques stated in the
trans thread by another member.
5-did a few WOT's & passing gear from different speeds, the WOT's need more
testing
, did notice that boost goes up to 15 lbs, and did spike
above that during passing gear testing.
overall just having fun, I do enjoy this ride!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've noticed the window whistle and the hot buttons, haven't gotten WOT yet, still breaking her in. I know the manual says 500 miles, but I am giving her 1000 to be extra careful. Got about 3/4 throttle though.

Window noise here as well. I usually only notice it when the family is in the car because the radio is off then. I agree that it might be in the weatherstrip of the door and not in the window.
I installed vent visors and the noise is still there...
Let me know if someone finds a solution to this. I might have to try and take it in to the dealer sometime to see if they can have their hand at trying to fix it...

Sometimes the outside mirror is the wind whistling problem, either a gap or gasket missing on the folding part of the arm, or another issue. Try folding it in and seeing if it changes or goes away. I used tape over several different joints on my Tahoe to determine where the noise was comeing from, and found it to be the mirror and the foam gasket torn at the bottom of the joint where it hinges.
