Zfr performance turbo delivered!!

( I recieved my zfr turbo and was wondering can I just bolt it up ) . I have the gms1 and the Hahn intercooler and piping kit , 5spd ,factory clutch for now . I get 22 psi now this truck surprise a lot of its victims .it pulls as hard as my gmc typhoon I'm amazed with the truck .

Has any one here use this turbo with just the gms1 . Like to know if it will throw a code .because the Hahn down pipe did ,so I took it out after finding out why. Don't want to buy the trifecta yet.

Follow the ZZP install instructions, + load the ZZP ZFR tune, & your'e good to go...

Although recently this has caught up with me. I did the whole engine / turbo swap no instructions. I was replacing the cabin filter through the firewall (that's a no no). Having trouble, the wife decides it's best to check the owners manual. (nah, I've just got to wiggle it right)

Then she says there's a door in glove compartment labeled "cabin filter acres" (palm to forehead)

I found a tuning and installation place with a dyno in sterling,Ma .called ( enhanced street performance ).

Enhance street performance also us HP tuning although I have the gms1 I will let them do the install of the zfr turbo and the tuning and than dyno will post result here after.

Great news! Keep up posted. I believe the zfr is the turbo black Tara went with. Sadly, I will miss my dyno appt tomorrow. I need a new coupler from the intercooler to the lower charge. Keeps blowing off!
