If anyone decides to do the steering wheel replace and the new one has crappy buttons, here's an option I used. Picked this up on eBay for around $10. Only two were really bad but it was bugging me and I wanted to see how it would work. There are YouTube videos on how to replace them - all. I will ad it be careful you don't mess up the good buttons doing this. I scraped a lot of the old paint off but I think all you really need to scrape is enough over the particular indicator on the button. You can use a marker to touch up the little spots too. Let's see how they hold up.

Not quit following that. Got a link to the Youtube?
This isn't a HHR and you obviously don't have to take the controls out to do this - but you get the point. |
Nice! Thanks! Was wondering if something like that existed. Heard a brand new complete switch assembly is pretty cheap, but I don’t know how hard or risky it is to install it.
