How to take amazing pictures of your car(s)

Found this on another site I know a lot of you already know some if not all of these tricks from looking at the photos on here but there are some tips I picked up on here that I would like to try in the future and figured almost everyone can benefit from this quick read.

I use different angles and some different lighting to get different results. Plus background and making the car the focal point plays a big part too.

your first picture has issues and bad exposure. The rear of your HHR is all washed out.

Second one is much better

Sort of like this one of yours where everything is cluttered and it looks like firewood is falling out the back of your panel? If you can't take decent pics yourself, don't judge others........just sayin'

As an HHR owner and professional Automotive Photographer, I think I more than qualify to critique, but I will advise instead. The best time of the day to shoot cars is when then sun is directly overhead, or even better on overcast days, there is too much to reflect in your paint, clouds, trees, walls, buildings, etc... that can ruin your pics. Alway shoot 3/4 shots not straight on, try kneeling or sitting down, or with camera overhead ( arms reach ) and aim down or get on a 2 foot step stool, and tilt the camera slightly to the left or right, you'll be surprise at how good your pics will come out.

Would love to show pics, but the program that uploads to chevyhhr.net is not working for me,???? I have sent hundreds if not thousands of pics since the late 1990's via the web, email etc.. and none have come close to being as difficult as is it to do so here. have even down sized the files, but no go!!!! Will keep trying.
