Sold 2009 IBM HHR SS 5-spd Manual w/Mods 385HP
2009 IBM HHR SS 5-spd Manual w/Mods 385HP
I've had the pleasure of owning this car since January - and after putting almost 30,000 miles on it (it only had 46k when I bought it...now has 73,XXXk) it's time for something different! I am the third owner and have driven it mostly highway miles. NO racing...except for the on-ramps :-) So, on to the details....
History of Owner 2: He bought the HHR in 2014 from a dealer in Mass. It came with a GM Stage 1 upgrade and had ~35k miles on it. Owner #2 installed the aftermarket parts listed below; parts had approx 5k miles on them when I purchased it in January 2015 with 46k miles.
Year: 2009
Model: HHR SS
Color: Imperial Blue Metallic
Miles: 73k as of November 2015
Trans: 5 Speed Manual
Interior: Black
AEM Uego AFR Gauge
TSW Shifter bushings
ZZP Trans Mounts
ZZP Catted downpipe
ZZP Catback (muffler delete/chambered resonator)
ZZP Intake
ZZP Intercooler
ZZP Valve Cover Plate
Injen (hot) Upper Intercooler pipe
Hahn Super20G Turbo
3 bar map sensors
TiAL Q Blow off valve
GMPP Clutch Kit
Mach M5 Black Rims
SSC Springs
DIY Lip
HPTuners tuned @ 27PSI
LED Reverse Lights
LED License plate lights
HID Headlights
1 Inch wheel spacer adapters
Stock radio with subwoofer w/Sirius Radio
Recently I replaced the tires when I had front-end work done, along with an alignment. In July, had the KKR dyno'd at ZZP in Grand Rapids - 385 HP (I can send you the dyno sheet as well). Last month, I had the timing chain and components replaced and the oil changed.
This HHR-SS has been a blast to drive. On the highway I get almost 30mpg and my combined mileage is a reliable 26.2mpg. Asking $9800 or best.

It does sit low, so I am cautious over speed bumps. However, it WILL go over them without scraping. When I encounter a big dip on the freeway, the downward force do cause the tires to rub the wheel wells, but only for a brief second. I live in Michigan, so I have pretty much mapped out which lanes are most favorable (i.e. to avoid expansion joints, potholes, big dips, etc). :) Just replaced the struts in July as well.
If you visit my gallery, you should be able to see the pics full size. It was my first time linking to photos, so my apologies if it didn't work correctly!
