My 06 ended up getting totaled, and I didn't have a chance to get them off for my 07 I just bought..........

when it was totaled, i had 7 days before my rental was to be returned, and i wasn't sure i'd find another HHR, so, (unfortunately) i opted for the higher payout........
in addition, (the other guys insurance company) took it 2 1/2 hours away to an "evaluation center"

the bottom line is yes, I accepted the settlement (which I'm still waiting on the check) and let the wagon go.
but it was all an issue of timing.
only had a week to find another car, don't really have a good place to keep a derelict, wasn't sure if i'd find another one, yada yada yada.
hindsight is 20/20

There is a fellow in the Facebook HHR Parts for Sale group who calls himself "Jason JuicyJay Parkes" and he has access to some wrecked HHRs that he is selling parts from. I have seen him offer some running boards.
