2009 Silver Ice Metallic SS from Alabama
Hi everyone,
My name is Chris, I have recently purchase a 09 Silver ice metallic HHR SS, Automatic (thank the wife later) with 82k miles. I picked it up in Tennessee from a GM dealer, and I'm under the impression the car has all/any recalls dealt with and that it has the GM Stage 1 kit installed. (Though I am not too sure of that). I picked this up because I've liked the HHR for a while and never really looked into the SS much until I got interested in getting a new car, and with 2 children a 4 door was a must. I have a 5 speed Mitsubishi Lancer OZ Rally I have racked the miles up on and was ready to relinquish from her daily duties. So I started the search for Lancer Evolutions, and Subaru Wrx's. I looked for SAAB 9-2X's and Volvo S60r's. I test drove a fee that were too high of mileage of that I broke while driving (including a 2012 VW Passau 2.0t that I blew up the turbo in). I was looking at a 4 door Cobalt SS when a add for a HHR caught my eye. I test drove one locally but it wasn't perfect, it struck my interest so I clicked the add. And ended up emailing the dealer. I found out the details on the SS and watched videos and searched more into them as I was working the dealer for a better price (asking 10,500). After 5 days of knowing I wanted to purchase, I decided to actually show up and attempt to get a good deal. Low and behold I left with it for under $9,500. The wife was the one to drive it the 2 hour trip back home, and when we arrived she definitely approved. Since then I have been driving it daily and enjoying it everytime I start her up. I'm here on the forums because I've always been a part of the car community and have been on a forum for every vehicle I have owned, I have always done mods and tuning and love to customizey ride toy liking. I hope to learn more about the HHR on here and to contribute to the discussion as much as possible.

I'm jealous of your Stage 1 Tune as well (I believe that your fuel door may confirm its presence with a sticker that says "Premium fuel REQUIRED" or "USE PREMIUM ONLY" or something to that effect).
