Im going to throw a $4000 offer up. Even if I decide to fix the paint and body issues, I can do it all for very cheap considering I have access to a full garage and body shop and plenty of experienced free of cost helping hands.

I think you indicate this will be a daily driver. If that's the case, I would advise passing on this HHR, even though you have access to all the necessary resources. This car appears to be abused and poorly maintained. It will be in one of the shops all the time, for one thing or another. That will make it somewhat inconvenient as a daily driver. And as someone mentioned, you'll be putting money in this all the time.....counting what you and the mechanic haven't noticed......"things" do crop up unexpectedly. For example, did you former owner routinely change oil, filters, coolant and other fluids? How's the suspension?
The trans. etc.? these areas are critical to the longevity of the vehicle.

I listed all the noticeable issues pertaining to the car. Everything else seems to be in perfect working condition.

 

right now, but the car is above 100,000miles..thats a lot and this is the time that most problems start coming out, and like snoopy said you never know about the tranny or engine conditions...but hey its up to you
