Aloha from Pele in Sacramento!
Hello everyone! Got a new '08 HHR LT in August. Victory Red, chrome package. Looking for cool stuff for the exterior so she doesn't look quite like all the other HHRs on the road!
This is the first Chevy in the household, have driven Toyota for years. Still have a '90 Celica GT and a '07 Vespa GTS 250-in Dragon Red, close to Pele's Victory Red.
Looking forward to getting great ideas from everyone! Already have my eyes on the '49 Chevrolet emblems for the side of the hood, Chrome rings for the taillights, chrome trim for the sidemarkers and headlights. Overlays for Chevy bowties. I also want to find the block letter 'chevrolet' decal for the top of the grille. Haven't located a source yet, but saw that a member had it on their old grille before updating to a custom one. Any other ideas are welcome! Also looking to get a dashmat before the harsh Sacramento sun kills the dash!!

Thanks everyone for welcoming me! I'd post a picture, but I'm guessing everyone knows what a Victory Red HHR with a chrome package looks like! However...for Christmas, Pele is getting a dashboard cover! And some other stuff. When it's not raining and she's got some new stuff, I'll take the Vespa out and get a picture of them together. I'm curious about the color similarity.
Off to look at everyone's cars for ideas, and to shop for Pele for Christmas!!!
