I've been very happy with the Dupli-color wheel paint. Glad it's working out for you too.

The stuff is very tough. Seems to take longer to dry and a good while to cure. After at least five coats, I actually baked mine in the kitchen oven, one at a time, because, why not? Didn't even occur to me to clear coat.

VHT wheel paint appears to be an identical product except maybe for the colors offered. Same company, Directions and other label information is virtually identical.

Today, I adjusted the rear drum brakes, 6 clicks on the left rear and 3 clicks on the right, this could have been why I was getting an ABS light in the early morning on wet roads because of the difference in rotation speed when braking. I will keep an ear open for any changes in sound as I drive the same route to exercise classes on Monday.

Today I installed new PowerStop coated front 11.6” SS rotors and E17 brake pads. And fixed an annoying rattle from the heat shield above the catalytic converter.

Today I will just wash and detail the BlackSwan, it was 6 years ago that I spotted it for sale during Canal Days . It’s been a good car and a few parts replacements normal for the HHR, but I have driven it a lot for hospital visits , funerals, trips to Florida and Cape Cod. It now has 217,000 miles or 350,000 klms still has a few years in it , my original hopes were for 5 years , so I have passed that goal. No to just ward off the rusty tin worms!!

349,950 kilometres on the clock, I replaced the clearance sale swaybar end links , they were clunking and did not have grease zerks, I installed Amazon K750012 links, identical to the Moog version except these have 17 mm nuts instead of 18 mm. We shall see how long they last.

Today while I was washing the BlackSwan I noticed the right front tire isn’t as straight up as the left front tire, I put a level to the rim and the left front is level, the right is out 2 degrees.
Im going to install a camber bolt to see if that corrects the problem . The tread of the tire is worn across evenly and the measurement points I use are dead on perfect, the toe in/out is exactly zero
