Got the HHR!!

After talking with the dealer and working out a reasonable price, I decided to purchase the silver 2010 HHR LS with 117k miles. The sales lady attested that they do a full and thorough 36 point check and flush/replace all fluids, adjust/replace any front end components such as CV's, sway bars, bearings...etc. The car has new brakes, rubber and filters. I test drove the vehicle and it runs like it was brand new!

Sweet. An official welcome to the site now. As previously stated the engines in these will run a long time with minimal maintenance. Just don't neglect it.

Congratulations on your purchase of a HHR, Augmented78!

And just to let you know, (some) car sales people lie. If it ain't in writing, it didn't happen.

Yeah, this is true. However, it was purchased from a reputable new car dealer and they have a good standing reputation around here. I did check the fluids and everything, and they look clean. The oil life on the info center reads 99%.

Also, I did find one minor issue. The turn signal (when engaged for right turn), sometimes does not want to auto disengage...sometimes it does, however. I'm going to follow this DIY https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/how-tutorial-library-21/turn-signal-canceling-failure-fix-lots-pics-37992/
