Talking Hello All! Just purchased my 2009 HHR :)

Hi Everyone,

I just took delivery of my 2009 HHR yesterday!
I got the 2.4L 2LT in Aqua Blue Metallic, and am absolutely loving it so far.

I traded in my Chevy Trailblazer, so there are some things I still need to get used to with driving a smaller vehicle...but overall the HHR is great!

I drive about 120 miles per day to work right now, so I will rack up miles quickly unfortunately, but hopefully my commute will change in the next year or two.

I'm in MD btw - I have seen quite a few other HHR's around already, and have gotten waved at a couple of times - very neat!

Well, just wanted to say Hi! Hopefully I can become a good contributing member to the forum soon :)

Welcome from a fellow Marylander.

You're not putting all those miles on commuting to Pax River are you? It would probably be around 60 miles from Bowie.

Also, you're going to need to post pictues so figured I'd give you a heads up.

welcome to the forum. I drive mine up to MD all the time, around Owings Mills and Baltimore for work. Maybe will pass you some time.

You're gonna love your HHR. And IMO, you have the best color to date! It really brings together and sets off the traditional styling of the HHR.

Enjoy.

I AM putting on all those miles commuting to Pax. I'm hopeful to get a job closer to Ft. Meade at some point, but that may be another year yet.

I actually just moved from California, MD last month...

I was actually REALLY excited about the color...ha ha ha :)

All of the HHR's around here had sunroofs, and the dealership here let me take one home overnight that had a sunroof. I wasn't sold on the idea, and wanted the 2LT with NO sunroof. There was one without a sunroof in a 150 mile radius - lol!

The dealership guy looked at me and said "There is one, but it's in Aqua Blue Metallic" he was barely finished before I said "I'll take it!!!"

Honestly I think the dealership peepz thought I was a little wacko for demanding no sunroof, but totally decked out otherwise :)

Hopefully I'll be able to post pics soon!
