Recently purchased a 2008 HHR SS in Black with a 5 speed and I am already in love! It's great to smoke people who think you are rolling in a non SS then they see the badge on the back as you pass them.

NEIGHBORJust Tuesday I bought a low mileage '09 SS. Black w/ auto. I just love it.
I love to smoke 'em too. Oh yeah I got rid of the vertical chrome stripes too.
I have an '08 HHR 2.2 Panel also.

Wow, all kinds of new SS owners in MI!! I'm in Flushing, just west of Flint. I've had my 08 SS 5 speed for a few weeks now. The previous owner debadged mine (which I think looks great by the way), so its even more fun to smoke people when there is no SS badge to give it away. The poor fox body 5.0 Mustang on the way to work today didn't stand a chance.

Hey Flushing - not too far from me. I am about 20 miles - West and North of Owosso.
Do you know the "08 black HHR SS in Flint/Fenton area with 151,000+ miles? Suski was asking $9900 for it. It was loaded and drove and sounded great but I bought the one with 10,833 miles instead. Too much money for an '09 but it is next to new and I love it.
I removed those stupid vertical tripes, first thing. Perhaps we will meet for coffee someday.

The one Suski had with 151,000 miles on it was for sale at Alserra in Grand Blanc and got down to $7500 before they sent it to auction. I drove it as well, but passed on it due the mileage. I drove down to Sterling Heights for mile. 08 with 81k on it for 11,000. I'm not much for coffee, but any meet up with a fellow forum member is always fun in my book.
