Hello everyone,

I've been lurking the forum for a while but now it is official: I am an HHR owner. My new-to-me wagon is a 2006 2LT which was previously owned by my father-in-law.

The car is in good nick but I wanted to add my personal touch to it. After a few hours and 25 bucks worth of Plasti Dip, here she is:

(She is dirty but I am giving the Dip until Saturday to cure and then it is wash/polish/wax time!)

Next in the list is getting a roof rack for my kayak. I am either going OEM or getting Yakima tracks. I also need to correct a ton of road rash on the hood and rear fender. Oh, I also want to get a black mesh grill :)


I have already used the knowledge gathered here to investigate my crazy door locks; I will eventually go the electric motor replacement route, for now I can deal with the bad lock.
