Thank you everyone for the warm welcome! To answer someone's earlier post, we're picking it up from Quality Chevrolet (Escondido). When we were there on Sunday, they still had SSs in silver, red and black.

Looking forward to finding out a little more about G2G(?)

NICE! Back in August when I was looking for one the only 1 I found within 2hrs of San Diego was on a website that said it was at Courtesy. When I went there they didn't know what I was talking about and had none on the lot, but we cruised back to their other hold lot and there were 2 black SSs, 1 with the sunroof, 1 without, both AT with the black and grey interior. Now they have a black and a imperial blue. Is the silver 1 at Quality the AA5, or rear window delete model? I saw 1 on craigslist. I was trying to find 1 in red back when I got mine as well, oh well, I love my black!
