Hey everyone.
New to the forum. I live in South Jersey and just got my HHR 3 weeks ago. Majestic Amethyst Metallic (I would say purple but it hurts my manhood a little too much.) 2007 LS with 39k miles. Its loaded too. Bought pre-owned. I love this car already.
After putting about 2,000 dollars (bad experience with a trans repair shop... they ruined the hyrdaulic system) into my 95 Cavalier Coupe and still having problems its was time for a new ride.
Wish it was a 5 speed but sometimes the AT can be nice.
I used to hate the HHR but it really grew on me, its got that "different" quality to it.
Shamefully shes in the repair shop already after a CEL and no crank. Happens that the PCM crapped out. Went to the shop and is now awaiting a PCM program at the local Chevy dealership. Hope its done tomorrow I wanted to cruise down the shore on saturday.

Dean, from a former Bridgeport Speedway employeeHope the experience goes gently. I had the same thoughts towards the design, until I saw and drove my SS. I hope we can help you in anyway , as with any vehicle, it's got its quirks. Enjoy the site, it's helpful to say the least.
