Greetings all, the name is Ray.
Well I started out a Ford man, then jumped ship to Chevys, then one day as I just had to know, I bought a Dodge. It was a great truck and really have no sustainable gripes... well it drank heavy, but damn it is fast! I drove it for three years, but kept seeing the HHr's rolling about... uh ohhh there goes the curiosity! So I researched them a bit, then one day came across one that caught my eye. So I was able to sell the truck with a heavy heart, and got this primo lil buggy, and haven't looked back since. Instead of 80 plus bucks to fill up, I now haven't hit the forty dollar mark yet. Plus I fit every where!
Thing is though, other cars are now alot closer to me than I care. I suppose I'll get use to it. I live here in Los Angeles, and folks like to play race driver by cutting you off at the closest possible angle. So now I drive my "Lil friend" everywhere, and it feels so fine. Hook up for the IPOD, roll back the sun roof, and now the thoughts of customizing dance in my head. It begs to be fixed up like the Chevys of old.
First thing will be the rims. I checked out the american racing rims, and saw a possibility, but I do wish there was an old style look. This is a great vehicle for around town, and I hope for travel. Don't care for the position of the cupholders though. I need to raise the arm rest to grab the bee.. uhh soda, or water yesseriee! So begins the new journey, and the companion vehicle is my 1956 Chevy Cameo. Still though.. the temple of Dodge does beckon with that far out Challenger. A far off dream for the moment, but the HHR I happly roll with for now. Great motor too. 172hp of sewing machine fury! I still blast past cars with ease. Pictures to come later after I wax er, and catch a grand ole CA beach sunset for back ground. Well folks, cheerio, and glad to be part of this outfit.

Ray, that had to be one of the funniest intro's I've read!
Welcome to the HHR familia and yes, BE CAREFUL of the MOD BUG!!!
I swore my only one was going to be the stubby antenna...
and yes, pop open the sunroof, load up the iPod and go cruising on the parking lots, er, I mean the freeways of SoCal!
and we like pix!
