HHR noob

I've always wanted a HHR but with family and priorities it never happened. Now things have changed. I bought one a month ago. I looked long and hard and found what I wanted. Here's what I got:

06 loaded 2LT
low mileage for age
clean and great condition

I'm an old hot rod guy so I've been busy personalizing. So far I've added the following:

Goldline springs
CGS axle back muffler
CGS cold air intake
Jet stage 1 performance module
2 din touch screen receiver with the works

I have other plans but I need to take it slow so the wife don't notice. This is a great forum with lots of good ideas. I only have one poor picture right now. It was taken in the parking lot at work in the dark.

BTW, I'm from central VA

I have already been questioned about my choice of ECM tune. I'm still learning the ropes with the HHR and 2.4 performance choices. I will probably go with the inner program later because I have already spent the money and installed this one. We live and learn...

Welcome..that was me but I pulled that post because I recall the last time I opened up that can of worms on a website. I'm sure you'd rather just discuss your 'new' HHR rather than the merits of 'chips' vs actual tunes.

I was wondering where the post went. I found out about the better tune after I had bought and installed the Jet. I have done the research and do agree that there is a better tune available. I just didn't dig deep enough at first. A change is in the plan for the future. I used to spend all my spare change on my harleys but that era has come and gone along with some prodding from the wife and a couple accidents and injuries to boot. So now I'm caged. Might as well enjoy it..
