Also, I just did the recall for the ignition column. Anyone do this? Did your key still work after or did they make you buy a new key? My dealer claimed the tip of my key was broken so I had to buy one anyway. Shouldn't it have been included since the column was replaced?? Oh, and they broke my key in half so I'll never know if it was really broken! They said they did it so I wouldn't try to stick the old one in the new ignition column. C'mon...I may be a girl but I'm not an idiot! Grrrr...
When the dealer did mine I didn't get a new key. They said it was the same key but reprogrammed to the new ignition.

When I had mine done the dealer reprogrammed my old key as well. They even programmed and gave me a 2nd key at no extra charge.
