To make this thread complete, some more facts...

this is what I bought:

Meanwhile, after six month all the work is done and my 2010 SS is approved and got licence plates, that means...... ready for take off.

It was a lot of work and I put even more time in getting parts as expacted because there are no more parts like hoods, doors, fenders, bumper etc. available in Germany.
So I decide to buy another HHR LT with broken engine and he donate all the parts I need to fix my SS.
All needed FE5 parts did I ordered at rockauto.com, they did a great job by shipping with FeEx in a fast and reliable way. The Intercooler comes from ZZP Performance.

Thanks to this community to give me the idea to add a A-pillar gauge additional to the RPD into my 2010 SS. It works great and looking awesome.

The combination of ZZP Intercooler, 3" stainless steel exhaust with flap muffler and HP tunes software update gives my a bright smile into my face when I floor the throttle.

Now got a Florida salvage car a new home in Germany and is happy to enjoy the german Autobahn to drive as fast as he can because we don't got speed limits...

Jens

Hi Jens!

The SS looks fantastic! I also added the A-pillar boost gauge to mine because I have the RPD too. I like the ability to see vacuum as well as boost!

I am FB friends with Manni Butcherman and we are trying to find him a Panel SS to ship to Germany.
I have a half-panel SS and I just bought a full panel one that he shared with me (from some jerks that didn't want to ship it for him.)

The hood scoop looks pretty good on your new SS, but I REALLY like the one that was on the SS Panel you had.
Did you put it on there and can you tell me where you found it?

Danke!

I live in Germany and bought my second SS four month ago. Meanwhile I got the car and do some work to prepare it for the inspector to get a german title and license plate as well.
My first SS did I bought in 2009, it was a Panel and I drove it until 2014.

I use this forum as a huge source of information to increase my knowledge and skills.
We also got a german HHR forum but there are only just 4 HHR SS running in Germany, so it is a very rare car on german streets....

I have a similar one on my 2002 Suburban K2500 that I put on years ago.

Here is one that looks like the one you like:

Yeah I also know Manni, I'll keep my fingers crossed that you and Manni will find a SS Panel soon.
I overed him to buy a salvage LT Panel for cheap from ridesafely.com or iaai.com because he got a SS and need only the parts to convert him into a Panel SS.......

This is what I've bought:

Talking

...got some news about my SS, after a long stay at the garage he now has a couple of horses more under the hood, if you know what I mean...

I replaced the old engine and put a brand new Z20NFT with EFR 7163 turbo in, of course with new rods, piston, bearings, springs, bigger injection valves, bigger fuel pump, clutch and whatever else was needed. Dyno says now: 420 HP

on the way back I visited my buddy Jürgen for a snapshoot with two (Panel and half Panel) of his four SS
