I found this site while I was looking for information on the recall. (I cannot figure out how anyone could be injured should that door pop open but I stuck the piece of plastic on anyway.) I managed to register and try to start this message just as the site shut down for maintenance.
I bought my 2007 burnt-orange HHR in early August 2008, two days after my previous car died on the freeway. The dealer had three, a white one, a blue one and the one that is now mine. It has taken some getting used to but so far I love it.

Welcome from Santa Ana and to the HHR familia!
We have a very active SoCal group and would love to have another SOM join the group!
As Don states, we do like to meet up at least once a month, to eat usually, really informal (actually we just miss each other).
